Andrew William Weaver is a screenwriter of character-driven horror and dark comedy features that mix high-concept dread with stories of obsession, secrecy, and survival. His work has been recognized by several major competitions and labs, including the WeScreenplay Script Lab (2024 Winner), the Vail Film Festival (2024 Screenplay Winner), the Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Contest (2025 Top 10), and The Black List, where his project DARK MEAT is one of the 50 highest-ranked horror scripts in the site's history. He studied writing at Middlebury College and worked for many years as a journalist.
